State Attorneys have called of their one month old strike.

This decision is to enable them submit to arbitration. The labour law prohibits labour unions from striking whiles in arbitration.

The State Attorneys declared a strike on July 6, 2015 demanding salary increment and improved conditions of service. There are about 150 state attorneys across the country.

Addressing a news conference today the spokesperson for the State Attorneys said "today attorneys are at work in obedience to law"
