Consumer Rights Advocate, Kofi Kapito, has observed that Ghana’s parliament has failed to make its position on certain issues of national interest known.

An unhappy Kapito stated on Anopa Kasapa that Members of Parliament have exhibited bias on a number of issues.

“Parliament is weak. I understand the whip system. In other jurisdictions, the whip works just like any other but your allegiance to your constituency. It is your duty to say that I will speak on this. I trust them but I think they are weak.”
