Ghanaians are now finding new ways to describe President Mahama since he does not want to be described as incompetent, Vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party has said.

President Mahama had during his Greater Accra tour chastised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for saying he is incompetent.

According to President Mahama, Dr. Bawumia has no locus to call him incompetent as "he's never come close to what being a president is."
But, addressing a press conference on the 2016 Budget and Financial Statement, Dr. Bawumia in a rather sarcastic manner, said he will retract from describing the president as incompetent.

He was, however, quick to add that the president is now very 'competent' at a chronicle of activities.
According to Dr. Bawumia, the president is now 'competent' at mismanaging the economy.
"NDC is competent at creating looting and sharing, propaganda, perpetuating dumsor, increasing unemployment, competent at collapsing NHIS, cancellation of teacher trainee allowances, competent at failing to honour statutory payments, competent at not paying contractors and making SADA Guinea fowls run to Burkina Faso. And most importantly, it is very competent at failing to deliver its promises," Dr. Bawumia added.
He further added that the Mahama administration has lost its credibility.
"The Senchi accord trumpeted by government has been ignored. The government no longer talks about it. Mahama denied going to IMF but he eventually went," Dr. Bawumia said.
