Wanlov the Kuborlo descends on Mahama over Accra flood

The GOIL filling Station, close to the main Nkrumah Circle branch of the Ghana Commercial Bank was completely razed down by fire in a havoc that lasted several hours.

Controversial artiste, Wanlov the Kuborlo has described President Mahama and Accra Mayor, Oko Vanderpuije, as “bad guys”.

His comments came in the wake of the flood and inferno that hit Accra on Wednesday.

Over 100 people have either drowned or been burned to death in a tragic combination of fire and flood that consumed some parts of Accra.

Several homes in many parts of Accra were flooded whiles commuters were left stranded as most roads were almost impassable.

A joint team of security personnel from the Fire Service, NADMO, and military, tried for hours to access the location but to no avail as the road leading to the location was flooded.

The fire, which started some few minutes past 10pm Wednesday evening, spread to nearby structures.

After President Mahama had visited the scene early Thursday morning, Wanlov the Kuborlo posted pictures of the first gentleman of the land and the disaster on social media querying why anti flood measures were not put.

“take a long good look at the bad guys...y [why] wer  [were] anti-flood measures not put in place by Brazilian construction company?”, he tweeted.
