NDC suspends Kwahu South DCE

Mr Omari is alleged to have instigated the publication of malicious stories about NDC’s Kwahu South constituency chairman.

 

Joseph Omari, District Chief Executive for Kwahu South in the Eastern region has been suspended as a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).Mr Omari is alleged to have instigated the publication of malicious stories about Mohammed Salifu, NDC’s Kwahu South constituency chairman. He has also been accused of refusing to work in harmony with the constituency party executives.“Joseph Omari concocted and published a story in the General Telegraph newspaper on February 23, 2015, to assassinate the character of the constituency chairman Mohammed Salifu for collecting a whopping sum Ghc60.000 from Malam Mohamed of Atibie to assist him obtain a media license to operate a media house,” a suspension letter signed by the party’s constituency chairman said.
