Pulse to focus on Ghana's 'Wonder Women' through March

Pulse Ghana is stretching International Women's Day into a month where we will be running a series of articles to highlight the achievements of women in Ghana.

March 8 marks International Women's Day, but here at Pulse.com.gh we are stretching the day into a month.

Through March we will be running a series of articles that will highlight the achievements of women with a particular focus on women in Ghana.

We think there are plenty of 'Wonder Women' here in Ghana working across many fields, from an innovative shipping business to organic farming, so keep an eye on Pulse to see the incredible women we have in our midst, how they got to where they are and the challenges they have had to overcome to do so.

We will be covering the issues that affect women in Ghana, and will better acquaint you with your female MPs, while also asking why there are so few of them.

We will also ask you, our readers, to tell us what issues you think women face in society here, and how this can improve.

As well as this, we will be covering panel discussions including a talk about women in the arts and the state of relationships between women and men on campus.

Pulse will look at women in all aspects of society, so if there is someone you think we should profile, please get in touch. You can email us at info@pulse.com.gh

The world is changing and it's time women's bodies, minds and spirits are given the respect they deserve the world over.

Our team of writers will be using their voices to show why equality is important, and how we will all benefit from it – women and men.
