Women dump refuse at Chief's house

Some women in the Sunyani West District have turned the chief's palace into a refuse dump

The chief of Dumasua, a farming community in the Sunyani West District witnessed the wrath of some aggrieved and frustrated women in the community as they dumped heap of refuse at the entrance of his residence.

The leader of the aggrieved women lamented a lack of refuse dump in the community was causing health related diseases for the residents. She added that a clean environment gives people strength and healthy minds and bodies to engage in their daily activities.

She warned that the women will continue to dump refuse at the chief’s resident until permanent solutions are implemented.

Nana Osei Nketiah, Chief of the community expressed his displeasure regarding the behavior of the women. He added that he and his council members were seeking help from authorities to curb the problem.
