According to buzzsouthafrica.com, dozing-off at such serious public events is becoming characteristic of the controversial SA president.

The South African online portal reports that a similar scene was recorded of the president when the former Minister of Finance, Pravin Gordhan was presenting the 20th mid-term budget speech in Parliament.

However, some people alleged that the President slept through the speech because Gordhan was not his favourite Finance Minister.

It has now become clear that Jacob Zuma will always sleep in any such important event.

He has been captured again dozing-off during another mid-term budget presentation in parliament, but this time by a different finance minister.

The Chief Whip of the Democratic Alliance (DA) party, John Steenhuisen was the first to tweet the embarrassing scene of the president completely absent during the speech delivery.

His tweet reads “While Gigaba delivers this say-nothing #MTBPS The only thing falling faster than the Rand is the Presidents eyelids”

Then the Commander in Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighter, Julius Sello Malema also shared a picture of the sleeping President with his followers.
