The MP for Tamale South said: “The President’s failure to speak on fuel prices and the NPA’s rationalization of the astronomical increases paint a gloomy picture of more hardships for Ghanaians.”
"It is extremely insensitive on the part of President Akufo-Addo to ignore the plight of the suffering masses", he said.
The Minority also bemoaned the state of lawlessness under the watch of Nana Akuffo Addo.
Haruna said, "It has been possible for NPP militants to attack senior security officials at the Flagstaff House, attack courts, a security coordinator in the Ashanti Region and countless others and get away with it."
"The inability of the President to take a decisive punitive action against these miscreants is a firm confirmation of the fear of many Ghanaians that an Akufo-Addo presidency will make the country unsafe", he added.
