The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has condemned what it described as the agenda by former Attorney General Martin Amidu

This comes on the back of the latest epistle by Martin Amidu accusing former President John Mahama in the appointment of Charlotte Osei to rig the 2016 elections for him [Mahama].

The citizen vigilante said Mahama must be blamed for the current conflict between Charlotte Osei and her deputies.

He added that the NDC only appointed Mrs Osei to help rig the election but failed in that regard.

But in a rebuttal, Kofi Adams said it's meaningless for him to make such allegations.

"That is a very silly thought. Please! Let people use their head," he said on Accra-based Starr FM.

Kofi Adams indicated that "I am quite disturbed and worried, and I think that you in the media must begin to help to expose chaff from the useful feed. Clearly, people just sit somewhere and write anything and when they are called to come and defend they will tell you they won’t speak."

He said no single person at the EC can rig elections in favour of any presidential candidate.

"There is no way any one person can sit in Accra and decide to change results that have come from close to 29,000 polling stations. If anybody writes that, it tells you that…the person is so so ignorant about the working of the Electoral Commission and about how results get declared in this country," Kofi Adams said.
