President John Mahama’s campaign coordinator, Kofi Adams, has called controversial musician A-Plus a 'drug addict', says he uses cocaine and Indian hemp, after the musician released a song criticising the government.

The song, titled ‘Abɛn Bɛ Bom,' took a jibe at some officials of the governing National Democratic Congress such as Kofi Adams, Okudzeto Ablakwa, Victoria Hammah, Asiedu Nketiah and Afriyie Ankrah.

A-Plus in the song wondered how the man coordinating president John Mahama’s re-election campaign bid, who until recently was a teacher at Adisadel College, could amass wealth in a short period to put up mansions.

“NDC does not have time for A-Plus, someone who uses heroine and sniffs cocaine cannot be taken serious.

“I’m a proud teacher and have been working as spokesperson for an ex-president since 2007. I have saved enough to build a house so if A-Plus stops doing drugs, he can also build a house,” Kofi Adams said on Asempa FM Thursday.

The song, which has gone viral with over 50, 000 downloads, took aim at President John Mahama and his surrogates, chronicling scandals that has rocked the government over the last eight years and alleged corruption.

Other members of NDC such as Okudzeto Ablakwa, Victoria Hammah, Asiedu Nketiah and Afriyie Ankrah were mercilessly criticised in the song.

The song says the management of the country by the NDC has made the labour and toil of our forefathers worthless.

He continued to say the party is full of deception, accusing officials of inflating government contracts such as school buildings.

A-Plus also took aim at the bus branding saga while slamming Victoria Hammah, who was sacked from office after an audio captured her saying she wants to make one million dollars in government and resign.
