Ghana Police sets date for next phase of recruitment exercise

A statement signed by the by the Director/Public Affairs, Supt. Cephas Arthur cautioned that the police will, in the course of the next phase of the exercise, arrest and prosecute recruitment applicants who produce forged or fake documents.

The Ghana Police Service has said it will hold its next phase of its ongoing recruitment exercise on Monday, 18th July to 22nd July.

According to the police, the forged documents could either be an academic certificate or a birth certificate.

All qualified candidates are to visit the named police commands and police training schools closest to them on Wednesday, July 13 to find out where they have been placed for the selection exercise, the statement indicated.

It said applicants can also log onto the police website: www.police.gov.gh with effect from 13th July 2016 for the same information.

“On the reporting day-18th July, 2016, qualified candidates are required to bring along the following document and items.

“Candidates are also advised to make arrangement to stay for the entire duration of the process,” the statement said.
