A member of the opposition NPP in the Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region has been stabbed to death.

The Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, CHRAJ has debunked claims that its image as been dendted following the dismissal of  CHRAJ boss, Lauretta Lamptey. President Mahama on Wednesday, removed Madam Lamptey from office after he accepted a report by a committee set up by the Chief justice to investigate allegations of misuse of fund against her. Laureta lamptey has been accused of spending over 180,000 dollars on Accomodation.

Abubakar Saddiq was part of the angry Akufo-Addo loyalists who locked up the Asawasi Constituency office on Thursday following derogatory comments made against Nana Addo by constituency Chairman Isaac Brenya who is reported against the suspension of party Chairman Paul Afoko. The deceased had gone to the constituency office today on hearing the office had been ransacked but was attacked and murdered by unknown assailants.

Oil marketing companies who adulterate their products will have their fuel stations closed down. This is according to Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Moses Asaga. There have been concerns that the liberalization policy which has brought competition among Oil Marketing Companies could compel some unscrupulous ones to try and sell at cheap prices by sacrificing quality. But Mr. Asaga speaking at the first-ever Ghana International Petroleum Conference in Accra says this will not be tolerated.

Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris has been handed a six-game suspension by the professional football league (LFP) disciplinary committee after a bizarre tackle in the Ligue 1. Outspoken Presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Dag Heward- Mills says there is nothing wrong with oral sex. According to him, there is no law which debars men from kissing any part of their partners’ body.

Bishop Heward-Mills who was addressing church members could not fathom why couples restrict areas they touch during foreplay when in fact others places can also contribute to make the sex more enjoyable. He blamed the bad sexual lifestyle especially among Christians on religious restrictions.
