The initiative is to reward subscribers of the news platform's WhatsApp services and will see readers eligible to win prizes.

Godfred Akoto Boafo,Head of Content for Ringier Ghana, owners of Pulse.com.gh says the Treasure Hunt will break new grounds.

"We have grown our reader base on WhatsApp to over 10,000 subscribers and we do not want them to be left out of the Pulse experience. The next few months will be interesting for both us and our readers as they search for the rewards hidden in articles."

Articles that are sent out to subscribers will have a paragraph that points out that article as a reward.
