New EC boss Swearing in of Electoral Commissioner in pictures

Charlotte Osei was sworn in by President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House in Accra

The newly appointed Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei has been sworn in by President John Mahama.

She was sworn in at the Flagstaff House Tuesday 30 June, 2015. In attendance was the Chairmen of the various political parties.

Mrs Charlotte Osei, in accordance with Article 70(2) of the 1992  Constitution was appointed to replace Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan  who retired as the EC boss after supervising six successful elections.

Charlotte Osei until her appointment was  the Chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education.
