Ghana's president condemns ‘despicable’ Manchester attack

In a tweet on his handle the President described the act as despicable and also sent his condolence to the affected families.

“Shocked and saddened by yesterday's terror attack in Manchester, resulting in the deaths of 22 people and injuries to 59. I condemn these despicable and cowardly acts, and extend my deepest condolences to the affected families.”

Police in Manchester, England, said at least 22 people were confirmed dead and dozens injured in the suspected suicide bombing on Monday night at a pop concert by US star Ariana Grande in Britain's deadliest extremist attack in 12 years.

Police said the situation was being treated as "a terror incident until police know otherwise."
