Gov’t Supports Displaced Rainstorm Victims

Government has presented relief items to victims of Mion who were hit by a rainstorm.

 

The National Disaster Management Organization has rapidly responded to the plight of Mion victims who were hit by a heavy rainstorm in the Northern Region.

Torrential rains flooded Mion in the Northern Region displacing more than 700 residents.

NADMO intervened and provided relief items such as blankets, mattresses and food items to the victims.

Packets of roofing sheets were also presented to support rainstorm victims.
