Court denies request for the release of the body of murdered UK woman

An Accra magistrate court has denied a request by UK based Ghanaian pastor alleged to have murdered his British wife EricAdusah for the release her body.

According to the court presided over by Justice Worlanyo Kotoku has denied the release of the body of the British may hamper investigation which are still on going Aby the police.

The embattled Pastor on Wednesday made an appeal to the court to direct the state to release the mortal remains of his late wife to the family for burial.

According to the pastor,the British family of his late wife have piling pressure on him to bring back the mortal remains of his late wife for burial. He further told the court he had not had the opportunity to see the remains of his wife since she passed some three months ago.

Pastor Adusah who is the leader of the UK-based Global Light Revival Ministry, has been charged with the murder of his British wife, who was found dead in a bathtub with blood oozing from her nose at the Mac Dic Royal Hotel in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua in March 2015.

Meanwhile the police says it is waiting for the full report of an autospy conducted on the body in other to know how to proceed with the case.
