The demonstration being spearheaded by the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), is to protest the current power crisis that the country has grappled with for the past three years.

Information reaching pulse.com.gh indicates that a section of the demonstrators have dispersed following a heavy down pour in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

It was expected to be attended by major stakeholders in the industry including actors, movie and stage directors, scriptwriters, distributors, producers, makeup artists, soundtrack singers, retailers, marketers and editors and scheduled to end at 7pm at the Jubilee Park.

However, a section of the gathering could not stand the rains as they run for shelter.
