Mahama nominates Emmanuel Bombande as Deputy Foreign Minister

Bombande is the co-founder of the West Africa Network for Peace building where he worked as Executive Director for 10 years.
 
 

President John Mahama has nominated conflict resolution expert Emmanuel Bombande as the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, a statement from the Ministry of Communications has said.

The statement further announced the nomination of former District Chief Executive for Upper Manya Krobo, Joseph Angmor Tetteh and the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta, Joseph Oti Bless as Deputy Minsters for the Eastern Region and Local Government and Rural Development respectively.

He is currently the Special Adviser to the UN General Secretary's Special Representative to West Africa.

Bombande's nomination is subject to approval by parliament.
