Software giant launches platform for job seekers in Ghana

This is in line with Microsoft’s goal to provide job opportunities and raise new entrepreneurs by the end of 2015, in Africa and the Middle East.

Microsoft launches platform-TizaaWorks.org for job seekers in Ghana

Microsoft 4Afrika in conjunction with its Ghanian partners, launched TizaaWorks.org. A platform that will link job seekers to job opportunities.

This is in line with Microsoft’s goal to provide job opportunities and raise new entrepreneurs by the end of 2015, in Africa and the Middle East, through its Microsoft YouthSpark and Microsoft 4Afrika initiatives.

According to Brad Smith, General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs, Microsoft, “We hope that this platform serves as a bridge, connecting Ghana’s young people to the tools, resources, and people they need to find the fulfilling careers they deserve.”

Tizaaworks will provide services like career counselling, job info data, and training programs relating to information technology, entrepreneurship etc.

You will recall that similar platforms have been launched in Kenya-TukoWorks and Nigeria-Aiki.
