Supervisor charged with assault

The Lebanese Supervisor who is currently on bail was processed for court earlier on Tuesday [March 7, 2017]. The case was adjourned to Wednesday, March 8, 2017, because the Abeka Magistrate Court did not sit.

Jihad Chaaban, the Lebanese national who allegedly abused a female Ghanaian co-worker by dipping her face into a blended pepper has been charged with assault by the Police.

Jihad Chaaban dipped the face of a kitchen staffer Evelyn Boakye at the Abelemkpe branch of the eatery into pepper paste.

This inhumane treatment has caused many social media users in Ghana calling for the boycott of the eatery. This has led to the creation of a hashtag #boycottMarwako.
