An Accra District Court presided over by His Worship Kweku Asante has remanded the thrity-four (34) people suspected to have lynched a soldier at Denkyira Obuasi the Central Region last week.
The prosecution led by George Ameke prayed the court to remand of all the 34 suspects in order for the police to continue with its investigation.

The judge upheld the plea of the prosecution and adjourned the case to the 21st of June 2017.

Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was sent to Denkyira-Obuasi to head a platoon of about 30 soldiers three weeks ago, a duty that saw him pay an ultimate price with his life.
He was lynched by residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central region on Monday, May 29, and he will be laid to rest this Friday, June 9, 2017.
The Police has arrested 42 suspects in connection with the incident.
