Stop sharing leaked video – Police warns general public

The Public Relations Officer of the Central regional Police ASP Irene Oppong said the former student said she was not raped and also did not record the video under duress.

The Police in the Central region has cautioned to desist from circulating the leaked sex video between the headmaster of Edumanu D/A Basic School and a former student of the school.

In an interview with Accra-based Starr FM, the Public Relations Officer of the Central regional Police ASP Irene Oppong said the former student said the headmaster is her boyfriend.

“We have been able to take statements from the lady and it points to the fact she wasn’t raped. She said they are in a relationship, the man is her boyfriend and she did not do the video under duress.”

“We are now concerned about the leakage of the pornographic material and the fact that is on social media now. That is where we have taken the investigations now,” she added.

In a video circulating on social media, the headmaster is seen positioning the camera at an appropriate place so they can record the sexual act.

This caused a public outrage which started a conversation over the relationship between teachers and their students in Ghana.
