The magistrate presiding over the case involving the two men accused of the murder of a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North, Mr J. B. Danquah-Adu, said she is not pleased about the delay of the case.
The suspects in the case, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu, have been provisionally charged with murder and abetment of murder respectively.
When they appeared at the Accra Central District Court on Thursday, Ms Arit Nsemoh expressed her dissatisfaction when the prosecutor told the court that he was still awaiting the Attorney-General’s (A-G) advice on the case.

The prosecutor, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr George Amegah, subsequently pleaded with the court to adjourn the case.
“I am unhappy about the plenty pleadings for adjournments. Try and follow up at the A-G’s Department and get the advice as soon as possible,” Ms Nsemoh said.
The case has been adjourned to October 10, 2017.
The two suspects are standing trial for allegedly killing the Abuakwa North MP at his residence at Shiashie on February 9, 2016.
The suspects were earlier re-arrested and arraigned after a High Court discharged them due to a decision by the Attorney General to discontinue at the court.
