In the wake of the renewed Fulani crisis in certain parts of Ghana, a chief in Kwahu in the Eastern region where the herdsmen have clashes with indigenes resulting in the death of some 8 people, has vowed to sacrifice his life to ensure the nomadic herdsmen
The chief further claimed that majority of lives that have been lost so far to the conflict between the locals and the Fulani herdsmen were indigenes from his town.
Nana Danso Agyei blamed successive governments for doing little to address the nomadic herdsmen crisis, hence the decision to surrender the menace to the gods of their land.
He said “Since I poured libation and called on the ghosts of our ancestors to deal with the issue, it has yielded results. Some people who went to the bush saw dead bodies and dead cattle. I’m very happy.”

Nana Danso Agyei strangely vowed that “I will gladly offer my head to safeguard the lands for the future.”
He has therefore urged indigenes to stay home until the gods finally flush out the Fulani herdsmen in the area.
