2 suspects in Royal Motors daylight robbery arrested

The robbers after the attack snatched a BMW saloon car.

The police have arrested two suspects in connection with Tuesdays

The two are believed to be part of four suspected armed robbers who stormed the automobile company and made away with thousands of cedis of the company's sales.

Police Public Affairs Director, ACP David Eklu said he two were picked up hours after the robbery incident.

He did not disclose the identities of the suspects and where the two suspects are being held up.

He assured that they are working to get the rest of the culprits.

The armed men fired gunshots, destroyed glass windows during the robbery.

An eyewitness said the robbers also entered another room where cash from the previous day was being counted. They attacked the cashier, took the money and destroyed a CCTV camera.

The suspects attacked the cashier at the company and destroyed the CCTV cameras that were fixed in the offices.
