Dr Onzy Nkrumah, son of Ghana’s first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah has disclosed his intention to contest for the presidency.

Dr Nkrumah, who has spent most of his life outside the country, told Starr News he is most likely to contest on the ticket of his father’s founded Convention People’s Party (CPP).According to him, politicians have failed Ghanaians, hence his reason to contest for the presidency.

“I was looking for somebody to support but if I couldn’t find anybody to support; I may consider myself because this is too painful to watch and to endure.“And I am tired of giving advice which people don’t even want to listen or hear. It appears there is immunity or indifference and politicians are just playing with words and pretending.“They are just lying through their teeth and they are clueless as well. I have given them the benefit of the doubt but I can’t see what they are doing right,” he stated.
