Thousands of pupils across the country have been left with no choice than to re-write the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) due to the cancellation of the papers by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

The subjects are English Language 2, Religious and Moral Education 2, Science 2, and Mathematics 2 and Social Studies 2. The Social Studies paper scheduled for tomorrow will not be taken too.
It is unclear how some papers leaked to pupils writing the exams.
The release comes after massive public concern over the leakage of the papers ahead of the examination.

A statement signed by its deputy director of public affairs Agnes Teye Cudjoe Wednesday said WAEC is disappointed in the leakage of the Mathematics, Integrated science, Social Studies and English papers on social media platforms including Facebook and WhatsApp.
