Chief Justice, Justice Georgina Theodora Wood has been cited for contempt by Justice Habib Logoh, one of the indicted High Court Judges in the 2015 judicial corruption exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The High Court judge who is on suspension, has since been challenging legality of the investigative piece on corruption among some judges and judicial staff in the country.

He has taken a series of lawsuits against the Chief Justice.
In his writ dated February 1, 2017, against Georgina Theodora Wood, Justice Mustapha Habib Logoh questioned why the Chief Justice is going ahead to begin impeachment proceedings against him.

"Your ladyship, if you ignore these pending court processes and proceed with the impeachment process, it would constitute a continuous flagrant disrespect to the dignity, integrity and authority of the High Court and the Supreme Court of which you are the head," Justice Logoh stated.
"You would recall that by a letter dated 9th September 2015, you requested me to respond to the same petition. I therefore instituted various actions against you, Tiger Eye PI, the then petitioner, and the Attorney General in both the High Court and notified you of same and indicated that I was unable to respond to the petition because of the pending case in court," Justice Logo added.

"I have also filed a new suit at the Supreme Court in which I am seeking an injunctive relief against you from continuing with the said proceedings..
"I am also seeking a declaration that your conduct to proceed with the impeachment proceedings whilst there is a suit in the Supreme Court challenging your jurisdiction is contemptuous of the Supreme Court," he said.
