State funeral for late Abuakwa North MP today
Parliamentarians, government officials, family and a section of the public will pay their last respect to the legislator who was murdered at his East Legon residence on February 9, 2016.

Ahead of the state funeral, Honourable Alban Bagbin, majority leader, has described J.B Danquah as a selfless individual.
“JB was an honest and friendly gentleman who related so well with all colleagues from both sides of the device. JB as selfless politician believed and demonstrated the beauty of democracy by supporting any course which in his view promoted the interest and dignity of humanity,” he said in Parliament.
Daniel Asiedu, the man alleged to have killed Hon. JB Danquah Adu is standing trial.
