Find out how MP was stabbed to death

JB Danquah Adu grabbed the knife and called for help but the suspect pulled the knife through his palm leaving a deep cut.

 

A charge sheet against the prime suspect in the death of JB Danquah Adu available to pulse.com.gh has revealed how the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North was killed.

The charge sheet revealed that on the 8th of February 2016, the deceased who was driven by his driver Samuel Berko Sarkodie came home at 11:40 pm. His driver handed over his key to him and left for Kasoa where he lives.

The deceased then retired to his bed. At about 1am on the 9th of February 2016, the suspect Danied Asiedu armed with a sharp knife a cutter and catapult entered the house of the victim through the iron fence when the security man was asleep.

He, with the aid of a ladder climbed up into the  front porch of the top floor and entered Danquah's bedroom through the window.

He began to search the room but the victim woke up and grabbed him.

"He stabbed deceased on the right chest above the breast," according to the charge sheet.

Danquah grabbed the knife and called for help but the suspect pulled the knife through his palm leaving a deep cut.

According to the police Danquah fell helplessly by the side of his bed and the suspect again stabbed him on his right chest below his breast.

When Daniel Asiedu according to the police realised Danquah was at the point of death he left took his two iphones and a tablet. and descended through the back and climbed one of the poly tanks in the house and jumped over the electric fence.

The security man after hearing cries for help called help from neighbours who were all scared to come close to the house.

They called the police help line and when the police came the deceased was dead.

According to the police the suspect also confessed to the events above.
