Rawlinges mourn late NPP chairman

In the jointly signed statement, the former first family expressed their sympathy to the family of the late NPP chairman and wished them God’s “comfort and peace at this difficult moment and may the soul of your beloved Jake rest in peace.”

Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey died on Sunday in London.

In December last year, there were media reports that he had passed on while seeking treatment at a hospital in South Africa but the party dismissed the claims.

He was a founding member of the NPP and served the party in various leading roles.
