Fire has destroyed a six bedroom house at Somanya in the Eastern region.
The fire, according to reports began in one of the rooms and quickly spread through the other rooms destroying several properties.
It is however, unclear what caused the fire on Sunday, May 28, 2017.
The Landlord of the house, Michael Cudjoe said his wife who was outside was informed about a smoke billowing from one of the rooms.

He said about GH¢10, 000 was consumed in the fire.
He indicated that, fire personnel who got to the scene could do little to salvage the situation.
