Teacher falls to death during rehearsals for parade

Pulse.com.gh has learnt that a 23-year-old teacher met his untimely death when he fell and died on the spot at Akyem Nkronso in the Eastern region Friday during rehearsals for Ghana's Independence Day parade.
 
 

The deceased, Akoto Solomon was a national service personnel at the Nkronso Methodist Primary.

A reporter at Suhum, Agya Dan told Pulse.com.gh that the deceased fell while the mock parade was ongoing, after complaining of hunger.

He said the teacher died on the way to the Suhum hospital.

Parents of the deceased have expressed shock about the incident.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Suhum government Hospital morgue.
