Dog meat identified as possible source of Ebola

As Liberia battles with a fresh influx of Ebola attacked, it seems the disease is not transferable from animals to humans.

The country was considered "Ebola-free" a month and 20 days before recent attacks saw 3 new cases.

Dr Moses Massaquoi from the Ebola task force, said the three villagers "have a history of having had dog meat together".

One has now died of Ebola and the other two are being treated.

The possibility that domestic animals could be carrying the virus is being investigated.

Liberia's president has however asked for calm as the country fight this new wave of the dreaded disease
