Residents of Koforidua in the Eastern Region must stop dumping refuse in the drains to avert future floods in the area.

This is according to the New Juaben Municipal Coordinator of National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Kwasi Opare.

“We advise residents to stop the indiscriminate dumping of refuse to avoid such occurrences,” Opare told Accra-based Starr FM.
