Man stabs his fiancée; vows to kill victim's mother

A 35 year-old Ghanaian has allegedly stabbed his fiancée for squandering his money.

Yakubu who travelled to Libya in search of greener pastures returned home only to allegedly stab his fiancée and also threaten to kill the victim’s mother for swindling him.

He narrated that both daughter and mother had defrauded him to the tune of GHC 20,000 by making him believe they were building a house for him whiles in Libya.

According to Rainbow radio, the suspect while away in Libya, discussed with the fiancée that he wanted to build a house back in Ghana so he settles down when he gets back home.

The victim then informed Yakubu that, she and the mother had already bought a land and asked Yakubu to send the money so they start building the house.

However, the victim and the mother failed to construct the house and allegedly squandered the money.

Yakubu who was angered by the action reportedly stabbed the victim who he also accused of cheating on him. He has vowed to kill the victim’s mother if she fails to refund the money he spent on them.
