A DAF truck with registration number GN 9845 – 14 and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GR 1775 – 15 has been involved in an accident killing one and injuring 10 others.The accident occurred at about 4am on Wednesday, 1 March at Assin Juaben in the Assin South district along the Cape Coast-Kumasi highway.

The driver decided to dodge some bamboo sticks that had fallen on the road and in the process collided with the truck."“One of the passengers, Kwame Duku, 44, died on the spot and 10 others who were injured have also been sent to the Cape Coast and Abura Dunkwa hospitals.”
