The police in Kumasi have arrested a 36-year-old man, Fiifi Medice, for posing as a military officer at a popular night club in Kumasi.

Fake military officer arrested
A 36-year-old man is in the grips of the police for posing as a military officer in Kumasi.

He was arrested on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Vienna City Night Club at around 1:15 a.m., fully dressed in military uniform with the rank of a major.
Briefing the press, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Osei Ampofo Duku, said the suspect was arrested following a report to the police and the military.
He was also found in possession of a suspected fake GH¢20 note when he was searched.

ACP Duku explained that when Medice was arrested; he told the police the uniform belonged to his uncle who had retired from active service.
According to the police, the suspect claimed to be a student in Belarus and was in Ghana on holidays saying, he was fascinated by the uniform.
