IMF report Second tranche of bailout cash to be in by July

Ghana will receive the second tranche of the financial package from the IMF in July this year.

Ghana will receive the second tranche of $144 million from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in July 2015, an IMF report has announced.

The first tranche of $114 million was released to the Bank of Ghana this month. Read more $114m of $918m IMF bailout hits BoG account

The IMF board early this month approved a $914 million bailout programme for Ghana after the government in August 2014 turned to it for financial support and technical advice.
