The Judge presiding over Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) misappropriation case has threatened she will compel the state to close the case.
Justice Efia Serwaa Asare Botwe said she will be compelled to ask the state to close the case if the prosecutors fail to bring their witness in the case.
Former GYEEDA boss, Abuga Pele and Chief Executive of Goodwill International Group (GIG), Philip Akpeena Assibit were indicted in an alleged fraudulent activities at GYEEDA.
Justice Asare Botwe gave the warning after state prosecutors, failed for the second consecutive time to present their witness in court on Wednesday.
“She also indicated that she will not allow for unnecessary delay in the case.”
The case has however been adjourned to March 18, 2015.
