A police officer on duty also drew the attention of the two, but they allegedly refused to comply
Police have arrested the President of the Ghallywood Film Academy, William Akuffo, and a woman in an alleged shooting incident at Sege in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region.
According to the police, the woman and her accomplice allegedly shot a police officer and a driver.
Reports are that, William Akuffo and the other suspect Eva Tetteh, otherwise known as Rihanna, had a misunderstanding and wrongfully parked along the shoulders of the Ada-Sege Highway.
This compelled a driver of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union, GPRTU, and other motorists heading towards Ada to draw their attention to the wrongful parking.
But the two ignored calls on them to park their car appropriately.
A police officer on duty also drew the attention of the two, but they allegedly refused to comply.
In an ensuing confrontation, the police say Eva, allegedly picked a registered gun belonging to William Akuffo and shot the GPRTU driver and a police officer.
The incident attracted scores of people and other police officers who apprehended the suspects and sent them to the Tema Regional Police Command.
Meanwhile, the two victims are in critical condition at the Battor Catholic Hospital.
