A Magistrate’s Court at Akropong in the Ashanti Region has remanded, into police custody, five suspects arrested over the alleged murder of Chief of Atwima-Koforidua-Akrofrom.

The five were picked a day after Nana Adusa the fourth was shot dead on Monday in what is suspected to a chieftaincy dispute.

Police say Nana Nkrumah was spotted a few meters from the crime scene by personnel of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit on duty on highway patrol.

The suspects are due back in court on the 1 of October.
