Binge drinking kills 36-year-old British citizen

A British man is reported to have died at the Golden Tulip hotel in Kumasi from a drinking spree.

 

The Ashanti regional police command has confirmed to Pulse.com.gh the death of a 36-year-old British citizen at Golden Tulip in Kumasi.

The deceased, Mark Thomas Ritchie reportedly collapsed and died after engaging in binge drinking at the Golden Tulip hotel in Kumasi where he had been lodging.

Superintendent Jonathan Lamptey, Kumasi Central district commander who confirmed the news  said "yes it is true. The station officer is with my men at  Komfo Anokye now where they took the body."

He however said the police is yet to establish the cause of death and at what time it happened.
