Late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills will be remembered for being a passionate politician

Late Prof. Atta Mills

On Tuesday 24th July 2012 at about 2:15p.m., the entire world was thrown into a state of mourning. The death was reported of his Excellency J.E.A. Mills, president of the republic of Ghana. This is the first time a sitting president of the Republic of Ghana has passed on. He was a great man.

President John Evans Atta Mills was without an iota of doubt a unique African leader.

His unique brand and legacy were characterized by his personal humility and devotion to the Christian faith, his unflinching believe in and support for peace, his unbridled respect for the rule of law and his often self-effacing and tension deflating sense of humour. As president, his statements and proclamations have always been in consonance with these admirable.

Here are some reactions from Ghanaians after three years of his death.
