Displaying a incredible lack of camaraderie, Cristiano Ronaldo refused to celebrate when teammate Alvaro Arebloa scored against Almeria in the Spanish La liga.

The Portuguese forward looked furious after being beaten to a cross by Arbeloa and then walked away shaking his head while his teammates celebrated .

It followed a strange night for the Real Madrid forward just four games left to play in the La Liga. He failed to celebrate Alvaro Arbeloa's goal because he wanted to extend his goals to beat Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi.

The pair were competing for a cross but the Spanish defender reached it just ahead of the Ballon' d'Or  and stabbed home into an empty net.

Incredibly, Ronaldo then booted the ball into the goal again as hard as he could and walked away shaking his head.

After the match, reporters clawed to ask in which Arbeloa flatly replied; "Cristiano's behaviour didn't bother me," he said. "He's just hungry to score. His battle with Messi to be top scorer is heating up".

He said: "Cristiano is doing great. He's not tired. He worked hard today even though he didn't score. He'll score on Saturday.

"I wouldn't care if he didn't score any more goals this season, I'm happy with him. He's scored 50. I've never had a player like that on my team."
