President Mahama receives CHRAJ Boss probe committee report

A statement signed by secretary of the Judicial Council, Alex B. Opoku Acheampong, said "In pursuance to Article 146(5)of the constitution, the Chief Justice also forwarded the report to the president, John Dramani Mahama.

The fate of the Commissioner of the Commission of Human Rights and administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Lauretta Vivian Lamptey is currently hanging in a balance.

This is because the five-member committee that has been investigating the allegations against CHRAJ boss,has finished its work and has submitted its report to the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship, Georgina Theodora Woode.

Chairman of the committee, Justice Anim Yeboah has indicated that both parties in the case corporated fully.

No decision has however been mentioned as far as the fate of the CHRAJ Boss, Ms. Lamptey is concerned.

Ms Lamptey was suspended eight months ago after the Chief Justice set up a five member committee to investigate and make a determination on the alleged expensive accommodation expenditure of the CHRAJ boss.
