The accidents victims are all Easter revelers.
A 23-year-old female (yet to be identified) died Thursday dawn at Koforidua Jumapo when a Daewoo car carrying four people crashed into a DAF Truck.
The three others in the Daewoo sustained injuries and have been hospitalised at the Koforidua Government Hospital.
Also, two people died in a separate car crash in Atibie-Kwahu.
The Eastern Regional Commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Larbi said Officers have been deployed on the roads to ensure that commuters adhere to road safety regulations to minimise accidents during this Easter season.
