''I Prevented Dumsor And Got Sacked'' - Tarzan

Charles Wereko Brobbey has noted that he got sacked when he prevented power crisis in the country at the time he headed the VRA.

Charles Wereko Brobbey, former Chief Executive Officer of the Volta River Authority (VRA) said he prevented power crisis in the country at the time he headed the VRA.

He stated that he prevented dumsor as its is affectionately called which started six hours, moved to 12 hours and its now 24 hours. It can't be any worse he hinted but said "I prevented dumsor when the dam was at its lowest level and then I got sacked."

He however described the current load shedding as a 'complete nonsense'.

At a public forum organized by Joy FM on the power crisis, he said he prevented the power crisis when the dam was at its lowest level.

The former VRA boss Charles Wereko-Brobby popularly known as Tarzan, alleged that the power rationing exercise favours “the middle class” who have been excluded while the poor continues to suffer.

“It’s working to the benefit of the middle class,” he added.
